How All Covered built a scalable Microsoft 365 security service with Augmentt
With hundreds of customer tenants, All Covered could only update security settings every six months if not longer. With Augmentt, that periodic project work became an always-on managed service.
All Covered turned periodic Microsoft 365 cleanups into an always-on managed service its customers are buying.
- Tenants kept configured all the time, not once or twice a year
- Every customer tenant in one dashboard
- About one in six managed services customers onboarded in the first six months
Security best practices kept changing across hundreds of tenants
All Covered, a Konica Minolta division, is a national MSP with a large and growing base of Microsoft 365 customers. When security recommendations changed, the team had no effective way to push that change across its entire customer base.
So they ran professional services engagements every six months or once a year to bring tenants up to date. By the next visit, some users had no MFA configured and others were missing policies that had been set up for them.
Consistency at scale
Security best practices had to land the same way across hundreds of customer tenants.
Constant change
New Microsoft security recommendations, policy updates, and threats kept arriving, and each one had to reach every customer.
Point-in-time updates
Periodic engagements left long gaps, and tenant configurations drifted between visits.
Visibility without extra work
The team needed a clear view of every tenant’s status without adding manual effort or operational complexity.

A structured evaluation
All Covered runs a formal service design process for every new service. The team set success criteria, scored four other platforms on capability and price, and noted what each one was missing. Augmentt checked all the boxes.
Designed for MSPs with many tenants
Other tools let a technician jump into one tenant, then out, then into the next. Augmentt puts every customer tenant in one dashboard, with new recommendations flagged as soon as they’re added.
A partnership from day one
Augmentt’s developers and senior engineers were part of the onboarding. All Covered shared ideas and use cases, and many of them were built into later versions of the product.
From periodic projects to continuous management
All Covered now sells customers a service that keeps their tenants configured all the time, instead of fixing them once or twice a year.
Keeping tenants current
Tenants were updated during professional services engagements every six months or once a year.
Tenants stay configured to current best practices all the time, as part of a managed service.
Configuration drift
Between visits, users lost MFA or missed policies, and nobody saw it until the next engagement.
Timely reporting on every policy means All Covered and its customers share the same view of how each tenant is configured.
New recommendations
Every change to Microsoft security guidance meant working out how to roll it out across hundreds of customers.
New Defender controls and policy recommendations appear in the platform as they’re added, ready to pass along to customers.
An entirely new service that customers are buying
Centralized visibility
One dashboard shows every customer tenant, so the team can see security status and manage Microsoft 365 at scale.
Ongoing security
New security controls and policy recommendations surface in the platform, which keeps customer environments up to date and shows customers the service is still improving.
A new managed service
All Covered built an entire managed Microsoft 365 service around Augmentt, replacing periodic updates with continuous management.
Fast adoption
Within the first six months, about one in six of All Covered’s managed services customers were fully onboarded to the Augmentt-powered service.
We evaluated four other platforms in the process. Augmentt pretty handily checked all the boxes for us and came out as the clear best option for our customers.
