Q3 2023 update from Derik Belair, CEO

These past two weeks have been exhilarating for us at Augmentt. From our presence at the 7 Figure MSP and CMIT Solutions events to the highly anticipated general availability launch of our Microsoft Licensing Module and Microsoft Quick Security Baseline, coupled with our new CyberHoot partnership, the momentum at Augmentt is truly remarkable.

We also recently hosted our monthly partner meeting and Q3 business advisory board meeting, where we received excellent feedback on where our partners are succeeding and insightful direction for our platform. We highly value and welcome all partner feedback – your insights and recommendations will directly impact our product and services moving forward, and you will play an invaluable role in our continued collective success.

Here are some additional highlights of what’s happening at Augmentt and a sneak peek into what we’ve got planned:

Augmentt platform updates

1. Microsoft Quick Security Baseline

You’ve asked us for ways to save time and more effectively secure your customers’ environments. Augmentt’s Microsoft Quick Security Baseline enables the essentials you need at the click of a button: Remove a user’s ability to consent to applications.

a. Turn on safe attachments.
b. Disallow infected file downloads.
c.
Enable system-controlled antispam policy for automatic forwarding rules.
d. Turn on the unified audit log.
e. Enable the Exchange external sender tag.
f. Turn on mailbox auditing.

2. Shared Mailbox Auditing

Your roadmap to a secure M365 environment just got easier. Earlier this month, we released Shared Mailbox Auditing.  Today, we include three new posture items: Mailbox Audit Logging, Exchange External Sender Tag and Disabling PowerShell Access for Non-Admins. Each of these can be configured at the click of a button.

You’ve also asked us to identify the MS license types required for individual posture items.  We’ve included this in the overview page.

3. MS License Report

We’ve made two significant enhancements to the MS License Report:

  • Out of box: Onboard new customers and immediately add their licenses to the report rather than waiting for the first billing reconciliation cycle at month-end.
  • Time traveler: You can now use the date-range selector to review previous billing cycles or see license changes on a custom time range.

Our Partner Success team has been setting up trials for this new feature, and the feedback has been very positive. Please contact your Partner Success manager if you’d like help with your M365 reconciliations.

Sales promotions

  • Site license – 1,500 seats (Discover, Engage and Secure) for $299/month
    • The first 10 partners that sign get an additional 500 seats of each.
  • Referral bonus – refer us to another MSP, and if they sign, we’ll give you $250
    • The first 10 referrals will be entered into a draw for a $500 gift card

Partner Success updates

Over the last few weeks, our Partner Success team supported two partners with joint sales webinars, presenting value props, flysheets, Infographics, talk tracks, pitch decks and pricing recommendations.

If Augmentt can help you with any sales calls, events, or joint webinars, please contact your Partner Success manager, and we will do everything we can to create a successful sales event for you.

SOC 2 Type 2 compliance

Augmentt has achieved SOC 2 Type 2 compliance for the second year, demonstrating our ability to safeguard customer data.

Out of box, Augmentt comes pre-configured to not be noisy. Very few Microsoft alerts are critical in nature so you will be receiving tickets for account breaches and not minor user log related events. That said, everything is customizable and you can turn alerts on & off to match your clients’ needs.
No. You can choose to schedule alerts to any stakeholder you want and at the frequency you want or manually download reports when you need them.
Regardless of how MFA is managed across your tenants, we have you covered. Augmentt supports Conditional Access Policies, Security Defaults, Entra ID per user (Legacy) MFA as well as 3rd party MFA services like DUO.
No. You can use Augmentt to monitor and manage all clients regardless of their licensing. For environments with no premium licensing you can still provide alerts and monitoring for account breaches and configure security best practices. For environments with premium licensing, you can leverage Microsoft’s premium alerts and premium security configurations such as Conditional Access Policies.
Augmentt is one of the few vendors SOC 2 Type II, and GDPR compliant.
