Introducing Engage Autopilot: Microsoft 365 Management, Now Fully Automated for MSPs

Table of Contents

Managing Microsoft 365 users across multiple tenants can eat up a technician’s day. Manual onboarding steps. Inconsistent offboarding processes. Security oversights. Missed license updates. The list goes on.

That’s exactly why we built Engage Autopilot. It’s the next evolution of Augmentt Engage, designed to eliminate repetitive tasks, enforce security standards, and help MSPs run more efficiently.

Whether you’re onboarding a new user or locking down access during offboarding, Engage Autopilot brings automation and consistency to your most time-consuming workflows.

What Is Engage Autopilot?

Engage Autopilot is a major upgrade to the Engage module you already know. It includes a full suite of new automation features built to simplify Microsoft 365 management for MSPs.

With Engage Autopilot, you can:

  • Clone existing users to onboard employees in seconds
  • Standardize onboarding and offboarding workflows across tenants
  • Schedule offboarding actions in advance so nothing gets missed
  • Preload default settings like country, email pattern, licenses, and more

It also builds on the powerful capabilities we’ve added over the past year, some of which you may not have noticed in the platform yet.

What’s New in Engage Autopilot?

Here’s a breakdown of the newest features available with Engage Autopilot.

User Cloning

No more configuring every user from scratch. Clone permissions, licenses, and group memberships from any existing user to speed up new hire onboarding and reduce errors.

Scheduled Offboarding

You shouldn’t have to remember to offboard a user at 5 PM on Friday. Now you don’t have to. Schedule user offboarding in advance and let Autopilot take care of it automatically.

Default Settings for Onboarding and Offboarding

Define onboarding and offboarding defaults across all customers or individual tenants. This includes:

  • Email domain and naming convention
  • Microsoft 365 license assignment
  • Group and security group memberships
  • Out of Office replies
  • Mailbox handling (shared or removed)
  • GAL visibility and forwarding settings

These standardized workflows mean faster setup and consistent security.

Already Available but Under the Radar

In the past year, we’ve added several powerful features that are now fully integrated into Engage Autopilot:

  • Re-register MFA
  • Create Temporary Access Pass
  • Enable Out of Office
  • Manage Email Forwarding
  • Convert to Shared Mailbox (optional)
  • Hide from Global Address List
  • Remove from Groups, Security Groups, and Shared Mailboxes
  • Refresh Microsoft licenses mid-flow

All of these features are now centralized in one efficient technician experience.

Why MSPs Love It

Engage Autopilot directly addresses the challenges MSPs and their technicians face every day:

  • Wasted time on repetitive Microsoft 365 admin work
  • Inconsistent processes between clients
  • Manual steps that create risk and delay

With Engage Autopilot, you can:

  • Reduce ticket volume
  • Enforce security best practices
  • Speed up user provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Give your technicians more time for higher-impact tasks
